1. Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho - Vietnam
The latest Zannier property is probably one of the most anticipated hotel openings in the Asia Pacific region for 2021. And for good reason: located on a remote peninsula in the Phu Yen province (central Vietnam) surrounded by lush hilltops, paddy rice fields and powder white beaches this hotel truly feels like having your own slice of paradise. Its 71 villa’s all come with a private pool and range from hilltop villa’s with sweeping ocean views to beach access villa’s, located closely to the beach and pool. These essence of Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho is to capture Vietnam’s rich history and culture - both visually as through the tastebuds. 2. Little Canvas Escape - Ameland
Tucked away in the sandy dunes of the Dutch island of Ameland, Little Canvas Escape is all about slowing down and (re) connecting with nature and each other. This pop-up glamping brings fifteen cosy, bohemian dressed tents to the northern shores of Ameland, where days go by swaying in hammocks, dipping into the icy cold sea or touring around by bike. Expect comfortable beds, bedlinnen, cooking facilities, electricity and free wifi. Add to the experience by booking an optional barbecue or a daily breakfast basket with fresh, locally sourced products. Little Canvas Escape opens May 2021.

3. Paradero Todos Santos - Todos Santos
Less glossy than Cabo, yet the sleepy Mexican village of Todos Santos (about an hour north of Cabo) is where everyone seems to be going these days. Once a dustbowl-town with the best surf in Baja - now, thanks to the overly instagrammed San Cristobal Hotel - a new ‘it’ destination on the Baja peninsula drawing a whole new kind of traveler. Brand new Paradero Todos Santos is an adults only resort with focus on sustainability and sense of community. It's 35 suites come in muted tones with furniture from all over Mexico while the sleek infinity pool looks out over the rugged surroundings. Daily rates include breakfast plus an activity of choice, ranging from surf lessons to a taco tour. Paradero Todos Santos opened December 2020.

4. The NoMad London - London
US-based Sydell Group is making their European debut with The NoMad London. Housed in Covent Gardens former Bow Street Magistrates Court, this elegant new bolthole will bring 91 bedrooms and three restaurants to London’s West End. As for their other fashionable outposts in New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles the London edition will be elegant yet playful. Think historic grandeur, velvet interiors, golden stand alone bathtubs and speakeasy basement cocktail bars. The NoMad London opens late May.

5. Kruger Shalati - Train on the Bridge - Kruger Park South Africa
Ever wondered what it would be like sleeping on a desolated railway bridge? Look no further, Kruger Shalati is where you want to be. This new train-slash-hotel is permanently stationed on the Selati Bridge in South Africa’s Kruger Park. Kruger Shalati pays a hommage to the first adventurers that explored the beauty of Kruger back in the early 1920’s - when the trains would overnight on Selati Bridge, high above the Sabie River. Kruger Shalati comprises 24 glass-walled carriage rooms, 7 bridge house rooms a restaurant with bar and an outdoor pool offering majestic views on the Sabie River and Kruger Park.
