Imagine you're a Williamsburg-based hipster all-day brunch cafe looking for a European outpost. Then what better city to try your luck then Berlin right? That’s exactly what the guys behind  House of Small Wonder  (or just HOSW) must have thought when opening their Berlin outpost back in 2014. Why Berlin? Because Berlin is exactly what Williamsburg used to be years ago when HOSW first opened there: a creative, vibrant and accessible area.

Expect a warm, rustic restaurant with Persian carpets, lots of wood and greenery, large windows and vintage decoration throughout the restaurant. The Japanese-inspired menu is packed with ‘small wonders’ as Japanese teas with almond croissants or yogurt scones with wasabi dressing. HOSW opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner and only takes reservations for dinner.
